Indiana Grand Racing & Casino will officially commence the start of its 2018 Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse season, which starts on Tuesday, April 17 at 2:05 p.m., with a weekend celebration on Saturday, April 21. The evening of racing starts with a first post of 6:05 p.m. and will include family fun activities, a free concert, and fireworks.
Family-friendly activities will be available to guests attending on Saturday, April 21, including face painting, airbrush tattoos, an inflatable bounce house, strolling entertainment, and a special video gaming truck.
Indiana Grand’s Always Turned On party tent, open on select Saturday nights throughout the season, will feature skilled contests, interactive giveaways, and cocktails in a party-themed atmosphere.
The Nick Harless Band will perform a free concert on the Race Course apron starting at 6 p.m., followed by a free fireworks show after the last race of the evening. Additionally, Jambox will perform a free show at Center Bar at 9 p.m., for guests over the age of 21.
