    Would you like money for operating expenses? Would you like money for next year's arts programming? Would you like money for an artistic project you have been dreaming about? Would you like money for a classroom project with arts components? Would you like money just for coming to a meeting?

     

    If you said yes, then you should sign up for the Region 7 Indiana Arts Commission Grant Opportunities Information Session Thursday, November 16th.

     

    Shelby County Players will be hosting a welcome reception at 5:30 followed by a 6:00 presentation by Bob Burnett of Butler University, IAC's Region 7 Partner. Bob will present the current IAC grant opportunities for nonprofit organizations and artists. The information session is free and open to the public.

     

    The session will include descriptions of available grant programs through the IAC, their eligibility requirements and their respective evaluation criteria. An introduction to the online application process will also be included.

     

    Your host, Shelby County Players, is offering a $25 incentive to the following entities:

     

    Shelby County Arts organizations

    • Shelby County nonprofit organizations with arts programming

    • Shelby county nonprofit organizations with potential arts programming

    • Shelby County school system art educators & administrators

    • Shelby County residents that are individual artists.

    Limit one $25 incentive per organization, classroom or artist.
    Incentives limited to first 30 registrants.

    To qualify for your $25 check, you must register by November 9th, attend the November 16th information session and take a tour of SCP OFFSTAGE. Complimentary refreshments and tours will begin at 5:30.

    The refreshments, tours and information session are free and open to the public. Registration required.
