Job Title: Programs Clerk

Reports To: Mutuel Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programs are a strong part of the track and OTB’s day to day racing activity. Working in Programs, one must properly distribute and update race information as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and provide customer service to all patrons
- Liaison to customers regarding racing and track information
- Sell programs to guests
- Balance paperwork and program sales
- Responsible for balancing drawer at the end of shift reporting all shortages to manager
- Provide customer service regarding Indiana Grand Racing & Casino facility
Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. Experience in customer service and banking/ money handling preferred. Must possess strong communication skills, be flexible and detail oriented. Ability to read and write; basic computer knowledge; mathematic skills; knowledge of horse racing terms, betting and programs. Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License.
