    Job Description:
     
    Instruct grades 10, 11, and 12 students in a Culinary Arts program in a career center setting comprised of culinary arts, baking and pastry, and hospitality management.  Instruction will include extensive lab experiences in commercial applications of principles of nutrition, aesthetic, and sanitary purchasing, storage and preparation and service of food and food products; using and maintaining related equipment, managing operations in hospitality establishments; and providing for the needs of persons with special dietary requirements.
     
    Job Qualifications:
     
    Bachelor of Science Degree preferred, but candidates with Associates Degree will be considered.  Commercial chef experience a plus.  The successful candidate must be able to satisfy the requirements of our post secondary partner (Ivy Tech) to offer dual credits through this program.  Must possess a valid Indiana teachers license in Family/Consumer Science or qualify for a Workplace Specialist license for the 2023-2024 school year.
