    General Description of Position: Provides leadership and guidance in the management of building operations, programs & services delivered at the site.
    Major Responsibilities:
    • Works collaboratively with campus academic affairs to coordinate site academic activities, preparing classrooms and building readiness for each start of term. Serves as the point of contact for full-time and adjunct faculty teaching at the site.
    • Works collaboratively with campus Student Success, Enrollment Services, and Ivy+ Career Link teams on student-facing activities to best serve students at the site location.
    • Provides facilities management for the site in collaboration with the facilities department.
    • Provides room scheduling and coordination of internal meetings and external utilization of rooms.
    • Main purchasing agent for the Shelbyville Site – handles all purchasing requests from employees; creates purchase requisitions for main campus, student organizations, and faculty.
    • Supports the Advantage Shelby Scholarship Program and students through coordination and collaboration with the Advantage Shelby staff.
    • Coordinates and maintains Classroom Instructional Technology activities for the site in coordination with Information Technology Department.
    • Supervises & coordinates test proctors and test proctoring room at the site including administering high stakes testing.
    • Supervises and coordinates tutors, information center receptionist for the site location and works in collaboration with all team members at the site location for building coverage and staff scheduling.
    • Supervises and schedules security at site location.
    • Works collaboratively with Enrollment Services staff in communicating with prospective students and applicants.
    • Be open and available to serve on local and statewide committees associated with job functions, or representing the College on community boards or committees as needed.
    • Serving as a model for strong leadership, develops and supports the Campus culture of team collaboration and commitment to delivering high quality services and outcomes, by being student- and employee-centered.
    • Creates and maintains an environment where planning, development, and delivery of services for students occur in a creative and effective manner that fosters cultural and global awareness.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree required
    Must be adept at resolving individual and group conflicts, and must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
    Must possess excellent organizational, planning, evaluation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to partner well with colleagues both in and outside of the organization.
    Ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
    Must have the ability and willingness to travel. Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally.
    Ability to be flexible in work schedule to accommodate occasional evening and Saturday events.
