Triton Central High School is accepting applications for a Special Education Teacher.  Start date for this position will be August 1, 2022.  This is a full-time position with benefits.  This position will be open until filled.
 
Ideal candidates for this position will have:

Mild/Intense Intervention Licensure or the equivalent, with good communication skills and experience working with general education teachers and instructional assistants

• Experience working with students who have a variety of special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure student success
• Knowledge to develop Individualized Education Plans
• Experience in taking, maintaining and referring to data to inform decisions
• The ability to provide regular feedback to parents to engage them in the educational process
• The ability to establish excellent classroom management strategies
• Knowledge and experience implementing positive behavior supports
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
