OPERATIONS MANAGER - Visitors Bureau

Operations Manager is responsible for financial reporting, hotel blocks, permit applications, grant applications end to end, stage request applications and booking, inventory, social media and other duties that fit within position guidelines.
Will attend local, state & national meetings as they apply to the position.
This position reports to the Executive Director, and will attend Board of Directors meetings.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree or higher in business management.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Shelby County history, events and activities helpful.
Full-time Mon. – Fri. 9am - 5pm. Coordinated with Executive Director.
Additional hours may include nights and weekends as needed during peek visitor seasons.
Commensurate with Experience.
