Butterball was brought into the shelter as a stray on November 5th.  The caring woman stated that he had been hanging around her apartment complex for a week on North Knightstown Road in Shelbyville.  Unfortunately, sometimes when people move out, they release their pets.  We were hoping someone would fall in love with him and adopt him by Thanksgiving, so they would have a Butterball to love, pamper and spoil.  He is a neutered male, but is not microchipped or had a collar with ID tags when he came into our facility.  We were never able to find his owner but this litter box trained sweetheart will have no trouble finding a home.  His adoption fee has been waived making him free to a loving home.  He has received his kitty boosters and wormer.  Come and meet our beautiful pets weekdays from 11:00 to 4:45 or Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00.  We will be going into a four-day holiday weekend where we will be closed.  The shelter is extremely full and need loving families to adopt.  Thank you for your support and love throughout 2018.  Questions?  Email me at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call your dedicated shelter team at 317-392-5127.
