  • Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: 8-12-19

Peanut, who was relinquished on August 5th, is still trying to figure out where she is and what happened to her human.  At the age of a year and three months, her owner lost her apartment and has to move back in with her parents.  Peanut doesn't get to go, unfortunately.  She's a little bit on the shy side but if she is hiding behind her litter box, she'll come when you call.  The beautiful tabby is litter box trained, incredible with children, other cats AND dogs!  Look at that face, what a doll.  Peanut's adoption fee of $30 covers her mandatory spay surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations and wormer.  Because we are so full, she's the last kitty on the left as you enter the front cat room.  That kennel is a wee bit smaller than the other kennels but Peanut is a petite shorthair.  Come and meet our loving babies weekdays from 11:00 to 4:45 or Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00.  Questions about our spay/neuter partner Pets Alive, our facility or other pets?  Email me anytime at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call your compassionate shelter team at 317-392-5127.  Thank you for your support of us and our homeless.
