  • Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: 9-25-20

Bandit, who was one of six dogs surrendered to our shelter back in July, is looking for a home.  He is two years old and lived with his parents (Baby Girl is his momma) and siblings (Cinnamon and Carla), and weighs in at 60 pounds. He is a mellow, low key kind of guy who is a bit on the shy side, but does love attention and treats! The Pit Bull/Shar Pei mix was selected and has returned from Vet Tech Institute where he was neutered, microchipped through AVID, tested negative for heartworm, completely vaccinated and wormed. Yes, he is turnkey ready. Although he lived with other dogs, these were dogs in his "family" so we would require a meet and greet with your dog prior to his adoption. His fee has been waived but remember the breed restrictions. Owned homes are best as many landlords don't allow their renters to have specific breeds or large dogs. Questions about Bandit? Email me at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call your compassionate shelter team at 317-392-5127. Thank you for supporting Bandit and his friends. Come see us weekdays from 10:30 to 4:30. God bless you, Chris Browder
