  • Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: 9-6-19

Baby dolls eyes.  That is how I would describe Bullet's big, beautiful "peepers"!  He was surrendered to our Animal Shelter June 1st because his owner is terminally ill.  It was a rough start for this handsome Bulldog/Pit mix as he was quite depressed and wondering what had happened to his former life.  At the young age of three, he has turned the corner and showing the zest for life that he once had.  When you see Bullet, he looks like an overgrown Boston Terrier!  We can thank Vet Tech Institute for vetting him so that he is turnkey ready for his forever home.  Bullet is housebroken, good with children (although a bit rambunctious) and was always the only pet.  His former owner did state that he liked to play with some of the neighborhood dogs.  Bullet is neutered, microchipped through AVID, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and wormed.  Bullet weighs 63 pounds and is solid muscle.  Because of breed restrictions, he would do best in an owned home.
