BRCF REACHES OVER 50 MILLION IN ASSETS
During the mid -1990’s, Lilly Endowment Inc. issued their first match challenge to all 92 counties in Indiana.  Shelby County residents met the challenge and BRCF’s endowment began to grow.  Since that time, thanks to our donors and shrewd investment managers, the Foundation’s assets surpassed the 50 million mark in May.  Due to this continued growth, we are poised to continue to improve the quality of life in Shelby County and meet unexpected challenges as they arise.

    OVER $439,000 AWARDED IN SCHOLARSHIPS
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, BRCF is awarding 185 scholarships to 134 students for a combined total over $439,000 this spring.  This total includes graduating high school students receiving new awards, as well as current college students receiving both new and renewable scholarships.  During May, Shelby County
high school students selected as recipients were presented with their scholarships at their respective high school award programs.  Pictured are a few Morristown High School students at their program held on May 21st.
