    First Ever Virtual Inspiring Abilities Expo

    This two day virtual disability resource expo will be on May 14 &15. The expo offers families and professionals a great opportunity to learn up-to-date information and  network with organizations and service providers who meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore 4 sessions with 12 unique topics over two days.  All sessions will be recorded and available at any time, for up to six months to all attendees. Visit the Sponsor and Exhibtor Centers to meet and talk with therapy and service providers, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, recreation programs and other agencies serving adults and children with disabilities.  The first 100 to register will receive an Inspiring Abilities Expo Swag Bag before May 14!     2am Parenting - The Highs and Lows of an Unexpected Diagnosis

    Join us on Monday, May 3 at 6:30 to welcome Taria Butler, co-author of the book, "2am Parenting: a look inside the caregiving of a child with a chronic illness” (https://www.amazon.com/2am-Parenting-Highs-Unexpected-Diagnosis/dp/1734486309). As the primary caregiver to a young child with a chronic illness, she can attest to what parents endure as they manage a child’s chronic illness while also managing home & personal life. Taria will share her journey while encouraging other parents along the way.  Through her experiences, she will touch on a range of topics for moms, dads, married couples and caregivers.

    Calling All Guys!
    FUSE-D will be meetings and eating in May


    FUSE is excited to be bring back the monthly meeting just for Dads, which we call FUSE-D!  FUSE-D meetings offer Dads and other male caregivers a chance to meet casually with each other, share a meal, and talk about their families from a man's perspective. 

    FUSE-D meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 at Chicago's Pizza-Greenfield. FUSE will pick up the tab for dinner (up to $12/per person). Dads who choose to purchase alcohol will need to pay for those on a separate check. Meetings are hosted by Wade Davison. Just ask to be directed to the FUSE Dads table when you arrive.

    CIC Has Two Great Events Planned In May

    Karaoke Night on May 18
    FUSE would like to invite our teens and young adults to the first CIC Karaoke Night on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:30 pm! Brandywine Community Church is kindly allowing us to use their gym for this event, at 1551 E. New Road in Greenfield. Please register in advance so that we can plan for seating.

    Pizza Party on May 24
    FUSE would like to invite our teens and young adults to the CIC Pizza Party on Monday, May 24 at 6:30 pm!  We will be hosting this event at Chicago's Pizza, 1031 N. State St., Greenfield. Bring an old friend or come to make new friends, but come hungry because FUSE will cover the cost of pizza!
