    November Meeting: Lighthouse Fusion
One-of-kind approach to ABA therapy services

FUSE will be offering a hybrid meeting on Monday, November 1 at 6:30 pm. Lighthouse Autism Center will be sharing about Lighthouse Fusion. The meeting will be held at Greenfield Intermediate and also available on Zoom (details below).

*No childcare will be available at this meeting

*Please register in advance so that we may plan for materails and seating

Designed and developed by a team of dually certified speech-language pathologists and behavior analysts, Lighthouse Fusion offers an innovative and one-of-kind approach to ABA therapy services. Unlike other ABA clinics, which separate ABA and speech therapies, Lighthouse Fusion combines the sciences of ABA and speech into one cohesive and transformative treatment for children. We believe integrating therapies makes each component more effective and gives our families a wider circle of experienced professionals working together toward one goal.

Emily Lourash, a 2016 graduate of Indiana State University with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology implements the Lighthouse Fusion model's innovative therapy program daily. Emily has worked in the field for over 5 years and her favorite part of working with children diagnosed with autism and additional special needs is seeing a child replace a behavior with functional communication.

Emily and her husband Justin have one son, Owen, and their family dog Nellie! Owen is full of energy and Emily knows the daily struggles and successes of having a child with special needs herself! Her son Owen was born with cysts on his brain and had a ventriculoperitoneal shunt placed as an infant. Owen has been in several forms of therapy since he was 5 months old, and Emily adapts her knowledge of speech, language, and behavioral therapy into her own home! She ensures her son uses functional communication and is continuously assisting in expanding his language and vocabulary!

Emily loves working with kiddos on the autism spectrum and with additional special needs and enjoys assisting parents in implementing forms of therapy into their daily home lives as positive outcomes are so rewarding to the families Lighthouse serves!

Register Today for a Evening of Fun at the
    FUSE Trunk or Treat!

    Everyone is welcome!

Are your children making their list and checking it twice? If so, maybe they are gearing up for our visit with Santa.

Santa is going to visit FUSE families on Friday evening, December 10, from 6 to 8 pm at the Greenfield Area Chamber Conference Room. The Greenfield Area Chamber is located at 1 Courthouse Plaza, Greenfield.

Registration for this event is required and will be limited to the first 30 children, so click here to register now!  This event will reach maximum capacity and a wait list will be maintained, so register ASAP. Siblings welcome!
Registration will close by December 3 or when 30 children are registered, whichever comes first.

When you register you will be asked to select an arrival time to help us make sure the kids don't all arrive at once or get there too late to spend quality time with Santa. Santa also likes to have a few things to discuss with your child, so make sure you provide the requested info for Santa's notebook to help save the elves some time for toy making!

To keep everyone, including Santa, healthy and safe we ask that all families follow a few simple rules. When you arrive please remain in your vehicle and wait for a text to let you know that Santa and his elves are ready for your child(ren).  We also ask that all adults wear a mask, if possible. We will be limiting each family to their reserved time slot this year, to ensure that there are no crowds and we can easily maintain social distance. As usual we will still be providing holiday treats for all of the boys and girls, but this year they will be able to take it home with them.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

We look forward to seeing our FUSE families and can't wait to hear about all those Christmas wish lists!
