  • Loyal Order of Moose Family Center 2118: Community service project for MHP Medical Center

The Women and Men of the Moose Lodge 2118 are working on something very special at the lodge.
The Moose Lodge has been doing some community service that involves making pillow’s for MHP Medical Center patients here in Shelbyville. On August 14,2020, the Governor, Sr. Regent, and the Community Service officers of Moose Lodge 2118 donated over 100 handmade pillows. Several ladies, men and children volunteer their time every other Wednesday to put together the pillows that will be distribute to different areas of MHP. This has become an ongoing service that will now include making pillows and blankets for the dialysis center. The Moose Lodge accepts donations of fabric for pillows and new fleece blankets. Please drop donations off at the Lodge, 224 East Jackson Street, Shelbyville. They believe this is a service that is greatly needed at MHP Medical Center and a service that they are proud to provide. As you can see by the pictures, it is also a service they all enjoy doing!
