  • Shelby County Ag Promotion: Renewable Scholarship Application

The Shelby County Agricultural Promotion Committee is a consortium of agricultural business and organizations whose purpose is to promote the tremendous role agriculture plays in Shelby County, Indiana.

The Shelby County Agricultural Promotion Committee is pleased to announce the awarding of scholarships to individuals pursuing further education in an area related to or associated with agricultural, environmental and consumer sciences, business, education, industry or the food and nutrition areas.

Scholarship recipients may apply to renew their scholarship for no more than four years of undergraduate work if they remain in good standing with their University, College or Trade school and the Shelby County Ag Promotion Committee is financially able to continue with the scholarships.

For 2021 there will not be a “Taste of Shelby County Agriculture” banquet. However, scholarship recipients will be awarded their scholarship money once they have submitted a tuition bill, housing fee, or book receipt to the Shelby County Agricultural Promotion Committee Treasurer, Jan Theobald, at 3042 W. Boggstown Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176. We hope you will be able to celebrate with us on March 2nd, 2022 but understand class schedules and travel constraints. We do hope you and your parents will consider attending.
