Shelby Senior Services, Inc., Horizon Center Volunteer Appreciation Open House

    Shelbyville, Friday, April 26, 2019

Did you know that Shelby Senior Services had over 34,000 volunteer hours last year? It takes a lot of volunteers and volunteer hours to provide all of the services we provide to the seniors in our community.

Shelby Senior Services, Inc., Horizon Center recently held their annual Volunteer Appreciation Open House. Tom DeBaun, Mayor of the City of Shelbyville, Indiana officially proclaimed Friday, April 26, 2019, as Shelby Senior Services Volunteer Appreciation Day in the City of Shelbyville. He urged the City of Shelbyville community to honor and recognize their volunteers. He added that the volunteer spirit that helped to build Shelby Senior Services is still alive and strong today. Each year many citizens commit their time and talents to improve the quality of life for our seniors and the entire community. Shelby Senior Services and the entire community benefits from the valuable contributions that each and every volunteer makes.
