    Our 14th Season
    Still dark due to Covid

    SATURDAY MAY 22, 2021

    9am - Noon

Please wear a mask if not vaccinated

    Dear Strand Fan,

We are looking forward to putting the Strand Theatre back in operation.   It is still at least a month away (we are hopeful) but plans are being made.   Our fall, while only a few events, will be fun.  We have already booked an outstanding comedian for mid-September.    It is up to all of us to do what we need to do.   We don’t want any Covid spikes!

Our work session tomorrow will be working on our stud walls in the new dressing room area in the basement.   If we have time we will also start laying out our stair stringers.   That will take a lot of math, but we are up to the challenge.

We put our air handlers into operation again, while not keeping the Strand at performance temperature, but still have the AC mitigating our humidity.    The theater went through swings in temperature this past year, the first time since we re-opened in 2008!

We appreciated the continued support and words of encouragement.   It is very hard on our organization and we are still not out of the financial woods yet.    Your donations, suggestions, and kind works keep us alive...thank you!   See you at the Strand.
