2017 brought continued progress for the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. One of the highlights of last year was giving our annual dinner a complete makeover. With the addition of new award categories, promotional video vignettes for each nominee and upscale menu choices and décor, this Awards Gala is an event that gets rave reviews and you don’t want to miss it!
In addition, we launched two new web-based directories. FindItInShelby.com is a guide to businesses, products and services you may need in Shelby County. HireMe Shelby County is a site that connects job seekers with currently available positions in Shelby County. And both are included in the cost of Chamber membership.
In 2018 we are placing a special priority on our Chamber Check program. When implemented well and supported by our members, this program has the potential to help Shelby County retain tens of thousands of retail dollars! I encourage you to ask Chamber Executive Director Julie Metz how you and your business can participate!
