Message From the Board President
2016 was truly a transformational year for the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. We made some significant changes in the form of new programs, services, and events that enhance our value proposition of our members.
The Chamber will graduate its second Leadership Shelby County class in the spring of 2017. We believe this will lead to a well-connected and passionate group focused on community improvement and community leaders. We are already looking to the fall of 2017 for our third class.
We are very excited about our new website that was launched in October 2016. One of its features in a “Resume Submitter” under the “Jobs” tab, which allows people looking for a job to submit their resumes, along with updated calendar of events.
In 2017, you can expect to see a heightened commitment to serve and support our membership and the Shelby County business community as a whole. We will continue to have vision rooted in providing clear benefits as we evaluate, and execute any changes in current programming.
Our board considers it a great honor to serve you and welcome your input as we implement our plans this year. If you have any questions, I encourage you to contact our chamber staff at email@example.com or (317398-6647.
We look forward to sharing in an exciting and prosperous year for you!
