Resources for Transition Planning
Allison Bishop from accessABILITY will be presenting timely information about post-secondary transition planning for students. Learn tips like how to support your youth, give confidence in competence, stay connected, and how to provide opportunities and access to tools for independence.
Speaker: Allison Bishop is accessABILITY’s Outreach Coordinator and has been on staff for just under a year. She experienced her first taste of non-profit work and volunteering while serving two years in the AmeriCorps after completing her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. She believes in accessABILITY’s mission and is motivated to get accessABILITY’s message to more people in Central Indiana. Social justice and equality are core values which Allison believes are essential to everyone in society. Allison is planning on attending law school in the future and is interested in studying immigration or human rights law. She lives in Indianapolis with her spouse and enjoys cooking and traveling.
