The Bloodmobile pulls up in front of the library at 3:30 pm today to gather 33+ pints of blood until 7 pm!
Patrons donated the life-saving liquid generously at the last drive, but more is always needed. While only 4% of the U.S. population donate blood, up to 37% can. If only 1% more donated, all blood requests would be filled. More people can donate than believe they can: Even people taking medicine, who have medical conditions like diabetes, or other chronic conditions, are queer, or have tattoos,
Types O and B are in great demand, especially O-, which is the universal donor.
