POSITION: Minister (Part Time) FAIRLAND GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH

The work schedule for this position is approximately 20 hours per week, which will include the typical duties of a Church Minister. As such you will help with the ministries of THE FAIRLAND GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH in its nurturing ministries and fulfilling its mission of witness and service in the world.  We are a rural church  with more Wesleyan beliefs looking for a Pastor that will help our church grow.

Duties:

Each week conduct Sunday Worship services and Support the Sunday School activities as needed.

·      Preparation for Worship services including special services at Easter and Christmas

·      Give input for the Bulletin

·      Perform baptisms, as necessary

·      Conduct Communion services.

Attend to the Affairs of the Church and Congregation:

·      Council those preparing for Marriage

·      Council families who have suffered loss of loved one

·      Council those who are suffering from personnel issues

·      Prepare for and conduct funerals and/or memorial services as required

·      Help plan Bible Studies

·      Participate in committee meetings as required

·      Visit sick, aged and shut ins as required

·      Perform necessary administrative duties

Conduct any other Church related activity as required
