POSITION:                  Blue River Career Programs Welding Assistant

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, have an Indiana Substitute Teacher’s License, and pass a background check

Job Description:

• Work with BRCP welding instructor in the classroom and the lab area.
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Farming experience preferred but not required
• Prepares and/or assists the instructor for demonstrations.
• Observe and assist students as needed in the classroom and lab.
• Supervises students and assists with computer work/assignments.
• Have a basic understanding of welding terms and knowledge
• Provides assistance to students in accomplishing their duties and tasks in the welding lab.
• Provides supervision and enforcement of all safety instruction and safe performance within the program area and on equipment/tool operation.
• Assist with clean up of lab areas
• Any and all other duties assigned by the Instructor/Assistant Director/Director
