Part-Time Speech and Language Pathologist
Location: Triton Central Schools (Fairland, IN)
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation:
This is a part time 21 hours per week position. Salary is commensurate with experience and follows the Northwestern Consolidated School District pay scale.
Position Description:
The Speech and Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, therapy and consultation services to support students with communication needs. The SLP will also ensure students have the tools to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Indiana state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents and special education staff.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students across various grade levels.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with the state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ success while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
when handling student information.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings and professional development as required.
