SUMMARY:
Co-worker assists Director of Operations with all maintenance tasks associated with keeping both Plymate facilities running smoothly and safely. Assists with daily supervision and direction of other Maintenance coworkers, regarding scheduling and task completion. Responsible for ensuring preventative maintenance tasks are scheduled and directs daily workflow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Works with internal and external customers to provide courteous and professional service in a timely and efficient manner.
Works with all aspects of preventative maintenance on commercial equipment located in both Plymate facility buildings.
Works with welding and metal fabrication, as required.
Trouble shoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems throughout facilities.
Uses advanced electrical knowledge to trouble shoot electrical systems, including 3-phase electrical.
Utilizes plumbing and carpentry experience as needed.
Assists in smooth operation of the boiler and wastewater systems.
Is key in ensuring coworkers and operations are safe.
Ability to make decisions and work on own
Results driven; safety focused. Able to follow work schedule, manage time effectively and work well under pressure. Flexible to deal with last-minute changes to daily activities.
Picks up materials as needed (valid driver’s license and clean driving records so company can insure coworker).

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Ability to use introductory level Microsoft Office (specifically word and excel). Excellent communication skills, Also, the ability to learn FileMaker, maintenance software, and our Alliant computer system performing at a basic level.

Individuals will be standing for up to ten-hour shifts. May require walking up to ten miles per day, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, lift and carry up to 95 lbs of textiles. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required. Proper lifting techniques required. Must be able to perform essential functions of all production-type jobs so is able to perform them as required meeting production and/or quality standards.

The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes.
Generally, temperatures are between 60 and 90 degrees. Lighting and noise level like traditional manufacturing environment.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday –Thursday 7am-5pm Friday 6am-10am Work schedule may be altered to fit business needs.
PAY RANGE:
$85-$95k Annually, based on experience, Quarlerly bonus potential. Benefits, PTO and 401k match
