[North Vernon, Indiana] December 9, 2025 – Our Hospice of South Central Indiana will host the 28th Annual Jennings County Gala on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM at The Barn at Willow Lake in North Vernon. This year’s theme, “A Night in Italy,” invites guests to enjoy an evening inspired by the food, warmth, and festive spirit of the Italian countryside.
Tickets are $60 each or $450 for a table of eight, available in advance at ourhospice.org/gala. The event will include a buffet dinner, wine pull, silent and live auctions, DJ entertainment, and the crowning of the 2026 Jennings County Gala King and Queen. All proceeds support hospice care for individuals and loved ones in the Jennings County service area.
Jennings County High School students are currently raising funds as part of the Gala Court, with the top fundraisers crowned during the event. Queen candidates are Abigail Taylor, Camden Mays, Emma Clapp, Hailey Whitehead, Heidi Hughes, Katherine Brunner, and Lillian Curry. King candidates are Cristian Gomez and Jake Birge. Community members can show their support by sponsoring a Queen or King candidate at ourhospice.org/gala, where each donation counts as a vote toward determining this year’s Gala King and Queen.
Other ways to support the Gala include registering for the silent and live auctions—text OHSCI to 71760 for early access—and purchasing tickets, making a gift, or becoming an event sponsor. All details are available at ourhospice.org/gala.
“Our Hospice has been supporting the Jennings County area with the best hospice care dating back to the 1980s, and this community has always been at the heart of our mission to Make Every Moment Count,” said Steph Cain, President of Our Hospice. “Each year, friends and neighbors come together to support hospice care close to home.
