Shelby County Public Library will launch its Summer Reading Challenge on June 2 and conclude the program on July 14. The library is challenging patrons to read 10 hours for children or 10 books for adults from June 2 through July 12. The youth department rewards young readers with prizes at each hour mark and, for those students who complete all 10 hours, will host a Twilight Swim finale from 6:45 to 8:30 pm on July 14 at Meridian Park Family Aquatic Center, 101 McKinley St. Our adult patrons are entered

Shelbyville, IN – The Shelby County Public Library presents a patriotic, pre-Memorial Day walking tour of City Cemetery, 154 E. Pennsylvania St., on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. Meet at the cemetery to honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of Shelby County veterans who died while in the service of our country.
