This is a full-time on-site role located in Shelbyville, IN. As an Agronomy Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating sales of crop nutrients, crop protection, and services. Part of your day-to-day tasks will include building and maintaining customer relationships, providing agronomic recommendations, demonstrating the ability to sell value versus price, and assisting with product demonstrations and trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field; or 5 or more years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of agronomy products and their applications
• Proven sales experience in the agriculture industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and analyze soil samples and other agronomic data
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
• Valid driver's license

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Commercial Driver’s License with Hazardous Material, Tanker, and Air Brakes endorsements or the ability to obtain one.

Commercial Pesticide Applicator License 1A

CCA certificate preferred
